Troubleshooting

Cloud Softphone says "Not registered"

  • Re-open the app — registration is retried on launch.
  • Make sure you provisioned with the QR code from this account's dashboard, not someone else's.
  • Some restrictive corporate / hotel Wi-Fi blocks SIP-over-TLS on port 5061. Try LTE / a different network.
  • If you rotated your SIP password, the app needs to be re-provisioned (or will pick it up on next reprovision tick).

Call connects but no audio (one-way or silent)

This is almost always a NAT/firewall problem on one side. T9phone uses ICE and a TURN relay to bridge difficult networks, but very strict firewalls can still block both. Try:

  • The caller and the callee on different networks (e.g. one on LTE).
  • Toggle airplane mode briefly to force the app to re-collect ICE candidates.
  • Reinstall Cloud Softphone if the issue persists after a network switch.

Invite link says "Invite expired" or "exhausted"

Invites expire after 7 days and have a usage limit. Ask the owner to send a new one. From the group panel they can also resend an existing email-addressed invite, which issues a fresh token.

"Your dial code is already taken in this group" when joining

Your nickname's T9 code collides with an existing member. Rename your nickname from the dashboard (it shows alternative suggestions on conflict) and try the invite again.

"Group is full" when joining

Each group has a member cap (default 50). The owner can raise the cap from the group panel up to 500.

I can't delete my group

Only the owner can delete a group. If you are the owner and still can't delete it, check the activity log for clues — a stale session is the usual culprit. Log out and back in.

I lost access to my email address

Email is the primary identifier in T9phone. Without it you cannot log in or receive password resets. Ask the group owner to add you again under a new email; your old account will become inactive.
